Role Purpose​​
To oversee the daily operations of the rehabilitation service at Raithby Hall, a facility nestled in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds. The role provides leadership to the team, ensures high standards of resident support and care, and maintains compliance with regulatory frameworks. The post-holder will also lead the development and delivery of effective therapeutic programmes in a safe, empowering environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
• Manage day-to-day operations of the facility
• Oversee budgeting and financial planning, ensuring services operate within allocated resources
• Develop and monitor staff rotas, caseloads, and occupancy levels
Leadership & Staff Supervision
• Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise staff members
• Foster a positive and accountable team culture
• Provide ongoing professional development and support
Quality & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, including CQC standards
• Lead on audits, inspections, and internal quality assurance processes
• Uphold health and safety, safeguarding, and infection control procedures
Resident Support & Programme Delivery
• Design, implement, and evaluate therapeutic programmes
• Promote a recovery-focused, trauma-informed approach to resident support and care
• Liaise with residents, families, and external professionals to ensure holistic support
Partnership & Communication
• Build strong relationships with community agencies, NHS providers, and social care teams
• Represent the service at external forums, panels, and professional meetings
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Person Specification:
Essential:
• Management qualification (e.g., ILM, NVQ Level 5 Leadership)
• Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Health & Social Care, Psychology, Social Work, Counselling)
• Substantial experience in rehabilitation, supported housing, or clinical services
• Proven ability to manage teams and complex services
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and therapeutic interventions
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
• Experience of working with regulatory bodies (e.g., CQC)
• Knowledge and experience of the 12-step recovery approach
Desirable:
• Management qualification (e.g., ILM, NVQ Level 5 Leadership)
• Experience in trauma-informed practice or substance misuse services
