Job Role:  Specialist Addiction Recovery Worker

Hours:     40hrs per week  

Salary:     £27,000

Location:   Nottingham and Derby

Report to:  Managing Director and Business Administration Manager

We are looking for a full-time Specialist Addiction Recovery Worker to join our team, someone who shares our values and can support adults living within NHR supported accommodation NHR supports individuals who have addiction issues and/or multiple complex needs. We are looking for an experienced Specialist Addiction Recovery Worker within a busy fast paced environment.

We pride ourselves on putting the individual first and aiding them to work towards living independently. We offer excellent training within a supportive team environment. 

The role

New Hope Rehabilitation are looking to recruit an experienced Specialist Addiction Recovery Worker who will be responsible for working directly with residents to address the needs through focused one to one and group sessions.  

NHR Specialist Substance Misuse Worker will be providing support to individuals who require addiction focused recovery support this would include any residents that may have additional needs highlighted through the referral and/or assessment process to include homelessness, offending and/or mental health issues. 

The post holder will build effective relationships with residents, have extensive knowledge around working with people who have addictive behaviours and have worked directly with clients to aid them to progress in becoming free from substances engaging with in-depth focused support  It is essential to have Peer Led experience and knowledge of a variety of programmes including the 12 Step Programme.

Experience of working with people who have addictions, people with complex needs including substance misuse, homelessness, offending behaviours and mental health is an essential requirement for this role. It is also essential to have experience of Peer Led and Person-Centred approaches and working with partner organisations to access appropriate support.

Job Role:  Senior Support Worker

Hours:     40hrs per week  

Salary:     £11 ph

Location:   Nottingham and Derby

Report to:  Managing Director and Business Administration Manager

We are looking for a full-time Senior Support Worker to join our team, someone who shares our values and can support adults within a supported accommodation environment.  NHR supports individuals who have addiction issues and/or multiple complex needs. We are looking for a support worker within a busy fast paced environment.

We pride ourselves on putting the individual first and aiding them to work towards living independently. We offer excellent training within a supportive team environment. 

The role

To support service users placed within New Hope Rehabilitation properties to engage with activities and support that will lead to independent living through engagement with the Support Plan objectives. 

 

  • To act as a key contact for residents family, friends and partner organisations

  • Assess and monitor the needs of the resident through support plans (reviewed every month)

  • Develop Support Plans with residents using the Outcomes Star as the basis of progression towards  independent living

  • Key work sessions to be undertaken with resident to assure progress is monitored and  

       documented appropriately through relevant documentation

  • To ensure residents engage with keeping the property to a high standard engaging in activities that

        support independent living e.g. cooking, cleaning, budgeting, managing finances, life skills sessions
